CIG BOARD MEMBERS

Mr. Michael Koisen – Chairman
Mr. Koisen is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Capital Insurance Group.

He is currently the CEO of the PNG Teachers Savings & Loan Society Limited, the President and Chairman of the Federation of Savings & Loan Societies and is the Chairman of the Oceania Confederation of Credit Union Leagues.

He serves on the Boards of Credit Corporation (PNG), Airlines PNG, PNG Credit and Data Bureau and Independent Public Business Corporation (IPBC). He is a Fellow of the Australian Mutual’s Institute, a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr. Koisen brings with him a wealth of business experiences and knowledge.

Mr. Leon Buskens
Mr. Buskens has a Masters in Finance from RMIT and a Bacherlor of Commerce from the University of Technology PNG. He was with Nambawan Super for 24 years, holding the role of Managing Director for 9 years.

He has been recently appointed General Manager Finance for Oil Search and currently also sits on the boards of ANZ (PNG) Board and SP Brewery.

Mr. Muralee Siva
Mr. Siva holds a Master of Business Administration and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He has extensive management experience at a senior level and is currently Chief Executive Officer of Airlines PNG.

Mr. Philip Stace
Mr. Stace has over 35 years experience working in the insurance industry in a range of management positions. His experience includes working in England, New Zealand & Australia. Mr. Stace is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Mr. Murray Brain – Managing Director – CGIC
Mr. Brain joined Capital General Insurance in July 2011 to bring additional experience and depth to the General Insurance company. He has previously held Senior Management positions in general insurance companies in Indonesia, Thailand and New Zealand.
